These terms govern your use of D&L Garage Doors services

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using D&L Garage Doors services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service apply to all garage door repair, installation, maintenance, and related services provided by D&L Garage Doors in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

2. Service Areas and Licensing

D&L Garage Doors provides services in the following licensed areas:

  • Oregon: Licensed contractor CCB# 194109
  • Washington: Licensed contractor LNI# DLGARGD820CF
  • Idaho: Licensed contractor RCE# 42914

All work performed complies with local building codes and regulations in these jurisdictions.

3. Services Provided

D&L Garage Doors provides the following services:

  • Garage door repair and troubleshooting
  • Garage door installation and replacement
  • Garage door opener repair and installation
  • Spring replacement and adjustment
  • Track repair and alignment
  • Regular maintenance and tune-ups
  • Emergency repair services
4. Pricing and Payment

Service Calls: A diagnostic fee applies to service calls and applies toward completed repair work.

Estimates:No Free estimates are provided for garage door installations and major repairs.

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Accepted Payment: We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

Labor Warranty: We provide a warranty on our labor as follows:

  • Repair work: 90 days from completion
  • Installation work: 1 year from completion
  • Spring replacement: 1 year from installation

Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and products installed.

Warranty Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage due to misuse, normal wear and tear, or acts of nature.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing safe and clear access to work areas
  • Removing vehicles and personal items from garage areas
  • Ensuring electrical power is available for testing
  • Informing technicians of any known hazards or special conditions
  • Following all safety instructions provided by our technicians
7. AI Tools and Digital Services

AI-Powered Tools: Some tools and services on this website — including T.O.D. (our AI-powered assistant) and our Online Garage Door Estimator — use artificial intelligence to simulate technician conversations and provide estimated pricing.

Informational Purposes Only: These tools are for informational purposes only and do not constitute binding offers or guarantees. All services are confirmed onsite by licensed technicians.

Estimator Pricing Disclaimer: Price ranges shown in the Online Estimator are based on historical averages, regional labor rates, and typical repair complexity. Your actual cost may vary. No work is performed without your approval after in-person inspection by a licensed D&L technician.

AI Limitations: AI tools may occasionally provide inaccurate or incomplete information. Complex or unusual situations may not be properly addressed by AI. These tools cannot replace professional expertise and hands-on evaluation.

8. Safety and Liability

Safety First: Garage door systems contain high-tension springs and heavy components. Do not attempt repairs yourself.

Insurance: D&L Garage Doors carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.

AI-Related Liability: D&L Garage Doors shall not be held liable for decisions made based on information provided by AI features or the Estimator. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations from AI-generated content. Use of these tools implies acknowledgment of this limitation.

9. Scheduling and Cancellation

Scheduling: Service appointments are scheduled based on availability and location.

Cancellation: Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid cancellation fees.

Emergency Service: Emergency service is available but may be subject to additional charges.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and protect your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

AI Data Handling: We may store session data such as ZIP code, issue description, or phone number to better connect you with our local crew. We do not use AI to make automated decisions that affect your rights. Data is stored securely and never sold.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through:

  1. Direct communication with D&L Garage Doors management
  2. Mediation if necessary
  3. Arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state where services were provided
12. Changes to Terms

D&L Garage Doors reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
